Our main criteria for acceptance is that prospective young people have a motivation to work with us.  Therefore we are able to accommodate the following:

• Young people with challenging behaviour.
• Young people who are making the transition from secure accommodation to a residential unit
• Young people who have the potenital to be violent to staff
• Unaccompanied minors
• Young people who have a history of self-harm.

Staffing levels at the units will reflect the level of disturbance of young people accommodated.  Therefore regular risk assessments are carried out to ensure that staff are afforded the full support and that young people are made to feel continually safe.
